STLF Summer Camp Registration Now Open!
The STLF High School Leadership Camp 2009 is in Fayette, IA, on the campus of Upper Iowa University. Also, new this year is the STLF Gap Camp, a week-long leadership experience for recent high school graduates.
Camp Registration this year will be entirely online and you can register for either program through the respective links below. You will be directed to our online registration system where you will be walked through the registration and payment process.

5th Annual Leadership Camp in Fayette, IA - June 21-26, 2009.
STLF's 5th Annual Leadership Camp will take place this summer at Upper Iowa University. The camp will consist of six days and five nights lodging in a university residence hall, and meals on campus in dining centers. Students from schools across the Midwest will join for this week in Northwest Iowa to build relationships and make a commitment to positive action in the year to come.
STLF is offering two camp experiences at the same time and location this year. One is STLF's signature High School Leadership Camp Program for students entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2009. The other is a new program called Gap Camp, which is designed for students of the graduating class of 2009.
High School Leadership Camp - Entering Grades 9-12 in Fall '09.
Camp is an intensive six day experience, filled with team-building activities, challenging workshops, lasting memories, and a commitment to positive change. The camp is open to all students entering grades 9-12. Regardless of prior leadership experience, background, or location, this experience is one you would not regret.
- Cost: Choose from two flexible Payment Options of $350 or $275. Need-based financial aid is also available upon request.

Gap Camp - New Leadership Program for 2009 HS Grads.
New this year to STLF's Summer Camp Program is the first ever Gap Camp. Gap Camp is a program specifically designed as a leadership program for recent high school graduates during the summer between high school and college. Gap Camp takes place at the same time and location as the High School Leadership Camp, and will be a week of great fun, friends, memories, learning, service, and leadership. In addition, this is a great way to become quickly engaged in numerous leadership opportunities in STLF at the college level.

Why should I come to an STLF Leadership Camp?
STLF's Summer Leadership Camps are a great way to meet incredible people from across the Midwest, make lifelong friends and memories, gain experience and confidence in various areas of leadership, and to commit to making a difference in your own school and community.

College Crew Leader Applications Now Available!
Not only is this experience valuable to high school students, but it also provides an intense leadership opportunity for college students, who serve as counselor crew members. A dynamic and diverse group of experienced college students facilitate activities and provide mentorship and support both during camp and after.
The deadline for submitting your Crew Application is April 3, 2009. All applicants will be notified by April 16, 2009. The dates that Crew Members have to commit to are from June 19 - 27, 2009, to allow for training prior to and after camp.

Impact of Camp is Carried on in Student Commitments.
There were several schools represented, and lasting friendships were made. Students from North Dakota and Minnesota have already took a road trip to Illinois for a Camp Reunion. Many are busy planning their High School Pay It Forward Tours for their fellow classmates. It is exciting to think of where these students will take their energy!
